One of the easiest ways to decorate your home for the holidays or a changing season is to create a tablescape! With Spring here and Easter on its way, this is a simple tablescape that blends the two beautifully. This particular tablescape combines the fresh look of Spring florals with touches of pastel Easter decor.
Use a Terrarium as Centerpiece.
The focal point of the centerpiece is a blue vintage inspired terrarium from Hobby Lobby. Terrariums usually hold plants and small animals, so this is a perfect place for a white ceramic bunny and a few stems of greenery.
Add a table runner and greenery to the center of the table.
Fill a terrarium or glass cloche with faux moss.
Then, add in a bundle of floral stems for height, a crate of pastel eggs for color and a decorative element.
Place, two white bunnies on either side of the terrarium to add symmetry to the center piece on the table.
Add seasonal details at each place setting.
The details are the most fun to add in a tablescape. For instance, they carry out a particular color scheme and showcase your personal style. In addition, the details create a ‘wow factor’ which can transform your table from ordinary to extraordinary.
Rattan chargers and white plates offer a neutral backdrop for each place setting. Personalize each place card with inexpensive finds. For example, I found a six pack of these seed starting pots and bunny themed chalkboard clips in the Target Dollar Spot for $1. Then, I placed a faux hydrangea flower inside.
Easter decor for the buffet table.
The buffet table is decorated with greenery, crates of speckled eggs, a bunny placed on a pedestal, and vintage metal garden bunnies found thrifting. There’s still room for desserts to be served.
