Style Your Home with Art from Tuesday Morning
I am partnering up with one of my favorite stores to shop for home decor, Tuesday Morning, to share some tips to style your home with affordable art prints. You probably know that Tuesday Morning is a great place to find unique furniture, home decor, luxury bedding and bath linens… Now they carry affordable art prints in a variety of sizes and styles. Art is a great way to personalize your home, and really finishes a space. Tuesday Morning carries a wide selection of prints from floral to kids art and are currently available in stores. I have rounded up a few tips to keep in mind the next time you are shopping for art prints for your home.
Look at all the beautiful art prints & frames from Tuesday Morning!
I recently went shopping at my local Tuesday Morning to find artwork for several rooms in my home! I was lucky enough to find beautiful prints in a variety of sizes for just $2.99 and affordable name brand picture frames, too. Let me show you how I styled them.
Pick a Pair
Look for similar prints that can be grouped together. The prints may be from the same artist or share the same style or subject matter. You can use the same style of frame to bring unity to the grouping as well. By pairing prints, you will be able to fill a larger wall or decorate different areas in the same room, while continuing the same feel of the room. Group prints close together to create a greater impact. I found both of these beautiful floral prints at Tuesday Morning, and many other sets of prints that depict images form black and white photography to landscape paintings.
Off the Wall
Art just doesn’t have to be hung on the walls! There are lots of beautiful framing options to display art prints on top of a piece of furniture, shelves or a vanity. With a great selection of metallic and glass picture frames at Tuesday Morning, you can elegantly display your prints on the table top. Include small prints in coffee table vignettes or trays on the entry way. Botanical prints freshen up any room, but are always a good choice for a bathroom. I framed this pretty stem in a master bathroom to add serenity to the master suite.
Gallery Wall
Fine art prints make great additions to gallery walls. You can mix and match prints to create a gallery wall or pick your favorite print to add to an existing gallery. If you find a print that you love that is an odd size, you can get it custom framed. There is another option and that is cut the print to fit into multiple frames. I found a matching pair of 8 x 10 frames the same length as one of the black and white prints of birch trees. I folded the print in two and cut it in half to fit into two of the picture frames. It is unique to pair these two side by side in a gallery wall of other black and white photographs.
Outside the Frame
Sometimes you have to think outside the box when using art prints in your decor. However, you don’t always have to put them in a picture frame. You can clip prints with clothespins to an old chippy gate for a farmhouse look. Secure prints to a decorative cork board in an office. Clip smaller prints onto clipboards for a fun wall art in a kids room or playroom. Larger prints can be hung in wooden poster kits like the one here from Amazon. The possibilities are endless. I decided to layer this print on a paneled board above my mantle, framing it out with an oversized vintage frame. I think it shares a look of casual elegance.
