For this week’s Wednesdays in Waco, I am sharing one of my favorite places to shop – Spice Village located in downtown Waco, Texas. Spice Village includes 60 individual boutiques within 30,000 square feet of shopping. The shop has been in Waco for over 20 years, y’all! It is a favorite stop for Baylor students, visitors to Waco and the locals. I think the variety of shopping is what makes Spice Village so unique. From clothing to jewelry and accessories to home decor and gifts, there is something for everyone.
This is one of my favorite booths that sells farmhouse and cottage stye decor!
From new to vintage finds, there is a variety of home decor to fit your style. There are quite a few booths that sale home decor from pillows and tea towels to faux florals and dishes. Not many large pieces of furniture are for sale, but definitely items to style beautiful tablescapes, shelves and vignettes in your home.
I love some of the over the top displays that some of the shops put together! As a home decor store stager, I appreciate the attention to detail and creativity to inspire others. It really is a fun place to shop! Check out the fun pops of color in this booth of kitchen items!
My daughter loves to support her hometown and wear Waco inspired t-shirts. There are two booths inside Spice Village that carry Waco t-shirts including Bear Cotton and Congress Clothing. From classic styles that all the cool kids wear to new designs, we can always find a tee to share our love of Waco.
Speaking of clothing, there are so many cute boutique style clothing shops. It is a great place to find a unique outfit for a special evening or to step up your style wardrobe. From kids to women, my daughter and I love the options! I can always find accessories like handbags and jewelry to complete an outfit, too! One of my favorite clothing shops is Plum Boutique. Plum Boutique often has a pop up shop at the Silos during Silobration or Spring at the Silos and I am pretty sure Joanna Gaines shops for clothing here. The clothing below is from another beautiful clothing shop!
Another favorite item of my daughter is the bath and body products. If you have a teen daughter, then you know the obsession with bath bombs, handmade soaps, and scented candles is real! So, let the search for the perfect scent begin.
Again, so many vendors with trendy, handmade and fun boutique style items! I love to shop for gifts and stocking stuffers for Christmas, here!
Spice Village is located in downtown Waco on 2nd street and Franklin Ave in a shopping center with many great restaurants and within walking distance to the food trucks parked at Indian Spring Park, along the Bosque river. They are just a few blocks from the Silos, as well, and you can ride the shuttle from the Silos to Franklin Ave. They are open Monday-Saturday 10-6 & Sunday 12-5. One of the many reasons that I love Waco is the great shopping, and this place is one to add to your list!
